So who am I and why should you hire me? I am three professionals you will need to hire, all wrapped up in one efficient, reliable, easy-to-work-with package. But we’ll get to more about that in a moment.
It has always been my dream to pursue my passion in the hair and makeup field, stemming from my childhood experiences in theater. My career took off unexpectedly in 2015 when, married to a US Navy sailor on the beautiful island of Oahu, I started offering cosmetology services to all of the sailors’ wives. Eventually, this expanded to include their husbands and children, providing personalized hair styling to anyone I could get my foils on at the time, along with special effects makeup for those special occasions.

Fast forward to 2020: I had two children under the age of three, pregnant with a third, going through a divorce and moving 2,000 miles cross country … and then to top it off, we get hit with a global pandemic … life is grand. But nothing was going to get in the way of pursuing my passion for cosmetology services.
With just $75 to my name, I took the leap and enrolled at the Paul Mitchell School to obtain my cosmetology license. I worked two jobs during the day to make ends meet while attending school at night, but it was all so very worth it! My children are my biggest inspiration and motivation to succeed in life. I want them to grow up and see the hard work it took to get their Mother where she is today. I want them to know that if she can do it despite the odds, then they have no excuse not to achieve any dream their heart desires, whether it's in personalized hair styling or special effects makeup.

Through perseverance and diligence, I graduated with several certifications in hair and makeup, achieving hard-earned honors and awards, including first place in the annual makeup showcase and my greatest achievement, graduating on the Dean’s List. This strong work ethic led the school Directors to recommend me for a position on the hair and makeup team for the feature film “Amy’s F- It List,” directed by Mark S. Allen.
Since then, nothing can hold me back. I’ve been immensely blessed to work alongside amazing professionals in this industry on feature films, commercials, print advertising, docu-series, Sacramento Fashion Week shoots, and more. Most recently, I served as the “Department Head of HMU and Special Effects Designer” on Mark S. Allen’s newest horror film, “Don’t Answer,” where I applied my expertise in special effects makeup.
Throughout my journey, I’ve also had the opportunity to work with several mentors who can vouch for my work, including local and well-known Director, Producer, and ABC10 reporter, Mark S. Allen, and First Assistant Director, Quinn Gardner. Additionally, I’ve collaborated with talented key makeup artists such as Angela Womack, Michelle Draper, and Nicole Chilelli, the winner of Season 3 of the SyFy Channel’s Special Effects makeup competition show “Faceoff,” as well as season 10 finalist Walter Welsh, all of whom have contributed to my development in personalized hair styling and advanced cosmetology services.

A few years ago, I took a chance on myself, challenging my own abilities and testing my limitations. I went to school to learn everything I could about hair, makeup, and special effects makeup, and then I continued to expand my knowledge of these cosmetology services on my own after that. I wasn’t going to let the thought of 'what if' hold me back from making the necessary moves to achieve success. So, I would like to encourage you to do the same: What if you took a leap of faith on a young yet talented and determined hair and makeup artist? One who possesses the passion to travel for this career and can provide personalized hair styling, as well as special effects makeup? This artist can fulfill the roles of three separate individuals, delivering everything quickly, efficiently, and tailored to your needs.
